Clean Air in Your Home

The most effective ways to improve your indoor air are to reduce or remove the sources of pollutants and to ventilate with clean outdoor air. In addition, research shows that filtration can be an effective supplement to source control and ventilation. Using a portable air cleaner and/or upgrading the air filter in your furnace or central heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system can help to improve indoor air quality. Portable air cleaners, also known as air purifiers or air sanitizers, are designed to filter the air in a single room or area. Central furnace or HVAC filters are designed to filter air throughout a home. Portable air cleaners and HVAC filters can reduce indoor air pollution; however, they cannot remove all pollutants from the air. (ƒ)

ArroFresh® Ultra

Introducing a new approach to indoor air health. A product that is simple in application, proven science, and cost effective. Recent scientific concern has focused on the recirculated air in residential and commercial spaces and the potential for virus/bacteria to be continually shared. ArroFresh® Ultra will allow our innovative product design to engage existing HVAC devices and work symbiotically to eliminate both whole house/commercial space odors and contagions. With the uncertainty of new and various microbial impacts on indoor air quality, individual health, safety and well-being, indoor air pollution is becoming a growing concern for the American public. Bacteria, allergens, viruses and other health stimuli has dramatically impacted the way we think about our social interactions, and has created the need for SAFE zones, (home and work).

Most experts agree that life as we know it will change permanently, and as a society we will continue to explore ways to make socializing safer, including the recirculation of the air within home and business. Most living and working areas have some degree of filtration available. These strategies utilize a room-by-room approach, (individual air purifying machines and filters). While these approaches generally filter dust, pollen, some bacteria or contagions, few mitigation strategies exist for a whole house approach that delivers cost effective alternatives.

ArroFresh® Ultra is a unique combination of proven chemical technologies that are literally “baked” into our USA manufactured woven product. This air purification product works continuously to remove odors and microbials from your home.

Clean Air in Corporate Implications

As more employees return to in-office settings, issues of safety are paramount. The need to purchase air purification systems is fueled by health concerns and, in some cases, regulations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Building owners must be able to establish trust with tenants so that everyone feels safe in their spaces. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that many Americans spend approximately 90% of their time indoors. The Environmental Protection Agency found that the air inside an average building can be approximately five times more polluted than air outside.

Further, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development predicts that by 2060, there may be 3.8 billion lost working days each year due to the harmful effects of air pollution. When you consider that the average office worker spends 40 hours per week in office buildings, the air quality of the commercial buildings where workers spend so much time can be an important component of employee health, mood, cognition, productivity and concentration. In the U.S. alone, the savings and productivity gains from improved indoor environments are estimated at $25 billion to $150 billion per year, according to research published in Indoor Air. Clean air improves a commercial space for those who reside there – whether workers, tenants or guests.
